TDK is looking for a colleague to lead and coordinate implementation of Manufacturing Execution System /MES/ and Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software in its production plants.
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a software project manager. The responsibilities include overseeing software projects from start to finish, managing and motivating implementation team.
Main responsibilities
- Leading and coordination of manufacturing related software projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting and execution
- Discussing potential projects and their parameters with production plants, implementation team and software supplier
- Scope and team definition
- Task prioritization and allocation
- Performing risk assessment
- Close follow of project details and prompt corrective actions in case
- Monitor of people performance and motivation of team members
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ensures project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines
- Regular reporting and communication to have a transparent project planning and execution
Mandatory requirements
- Degree in software or engineering management, industrial informatics, technical computer science or similar
- Min. 3 years working experience in software projects, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Experiences in managing cross functional teams
- Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques
- Min. 3 years experience in agile project methodologies
- Exceptional leadership, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Strong team player and creative thinking
- Ability to motivate team members
- Well organized and capable of multi-tasking
- Analytical, result-oriented mindset, committed way of working
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
- Customer- and service minded
